Description

Rocco's ideal home

Ring, Ring Rocco here! Rocco is a little character! When he has a relationship with you he is really affectionate and loves a bum scratch! He can be sensitive in new situations so new owners will need to take things slow and be understanding of his worries. He is only a young boy, so once he is settled in Rocco is likely to be a really active boy so would like a home where he can go on lots of adventures! Rocco is looking for a quiet adult only home where he can relax and be given lots of space. He loves the company of other dogs and could live with a pre-existing confident dog in his new home, it may even benefit him to help him understand how to behave in the big wide world. As we have very little history on Rocco he will need all of his basic training including housetraining, and any time left on his own will need to be built up really gradually with lots to keep him occupied. Rocco’s new family will need to be aware that he’s been quite sensitive around veterinary handling and is currently learning to wear a muzzle when he sees the vet! Rocco is a really playful boy with bags of potential, he just needs a helping hand from his new family to grow his confidence and settle into his new life. He lives for toys, especially his pink, squeaky mobile phone. This MUST be rehomed with Rocco, maybe he can call us for updates!

Could you be Rocco's perfect match?

Rocco has come on so much since being with us and really will make someone a wonderful partner in crime!! We consider the primary breed of Rocco to be Boxer and therefore do not believe that they would be considered an American Bully XL type.

Boxer Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Boxer.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
