Description

Rosie's ideal home

Rosie is looking for an adult only home which also has a secure, private garden, so she has her own space to run around offlead playing with her favourite toys. Her new home will also need to have the ability to separate her, so Rosie can have her own space to relax without wanting interaction from her adopters. Rosie cannot live with other dogs, as she needs her confidence building around other dogs and would like to build up on her dog socialisation. She would also likely be too much for other pets so would like a home with no cats/small furries or birds. Rosie will also need to be kept on a lead out and about and be walked in quieter areas. She will also need adopters who are comfortable muzzling her for the vets.

Could you be Rosie's perfect match?

Rosie is our larger than life 2-year-old Boxer cross who is patiently waiting for a forever home that can keep up with her. Rosie is a characterful young lady and is looking for adopters that can provide her with lots of walks and who are willing to work on her training, helping to exercise her brain. Luckily Rosie absolutely loves any tasty treat she’s given as well as her toys and is a champion at tug of war.

...if to ask for more! Rodney gets along well with other dogs although does take exception to Frenchies, and we feel he could live with a quiet dog that wouldn't mither him too much.

Simba

...as neighbours. He will also need access to walks with few dogs. Simba would really suit someone who has an interest in dog...handle his strength and behaviour towards other dogs, but he's making great progress with the trainers at the centre. Simba has had some aversive training in the past, which hasn't helped him, but he's on the right path now but needs an owner...

He has only been with us a short while but has already won us all over with his gentle character along with his beautiful eyes and his heart sharped nose! Bowie has mixed off lead with another energetic dog and was very respectful and playful. He would benefit from having social doggy friends. He loves training so...

Dottie

...of love. This strong, spirited girl absolutely loves other dogs and people so we think she would thrive in a home with older ...school age children who are confident with bigger dogs and other dogs but as she’s not neutered, it would need to be a neutered males or females only please. Dottie has also lived with small furries before, she's never lived with a cat but...

Boxer Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Boxer.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
